How to become an Idex volunteer:
Idex works with a number of partner organizations in Europe and America for the recruitment and pre-departure preparation of volunteers. This models ensures a successful and informative pre-departure experience for all participants.

Idex Internships
Idex is currently recruiting international candidates for internship positions at all project locations. An internship with Idex is a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the grass-root level while working for a socially progressive organization committed to rural development and cross-cultural exchange. Work responsibilities will focus on project assessment and documentation; program development; and volunteer training and capacity building. The following qualifications are desired:
- Minimum 6 month working commitment
- Minimum B.A. / B.S. degree
- Experience living/working in a developing country (preferably India)
- Strong English-writing and communication skills
- Knowledge of Hindi language(desired) or strong enthusiasm to learn
